It is possible the system board was damaged at some point during the controller swapping. If you can't find anything on the cards that state integrated or INTG then locate the part numbers and I can check. That "i" stands for internal and indicates it is for internal HDD and not external. The i on PERC 6/i or H700i does not mean that it is for an integrated storage slot. If there are issues with either of those they could affect UEFI loading.īack to the primary issue, double check which slot you removed the PERC 6/i from, and check to make sure which version of the H700 you have. UEFI is part of the system BIOS, but the iDRAC and LCC are intermingled with the system BIOS. If UEFI still fails to load then the next steps would be: Clear NVRAM, flash BIOS, FLASH iDRAC and LCC. I would start by draining flea power, just shut down and disconnect the power cords for about 30 seconds to a minute. That would also explain why it is unable to boot in UEFI mode. It is not possible to change the settingsIf we can't enter the UEFI settings menu then it would appear that the UEFI is not loading properly.
